Vauxhall Vectra Locking ECU?

Hi, i have had problems and asked question regarding my central locking ecu before. I have come to the conclusion that the ecu in my car is faulty and will not be fixable. I have seen for sale an ecu with paired key fob on ebay. The ecu is different to the one in my car with different model number, but is from same year vectra. Does anyone know if this one will work in my car or should i wait until i find one that looks same with same model number?
