Anyone have experience with hair coloring?

I have much experience in it but with dark hair and having highlights would not be a good idea so try to go lighter otherwise you will have two sets possibly three sets of colors in your hair. I would look at the back of the box and see what it shows for the closest color of your hair and see what color it says it should come out, if you do decide to dye your hair do a semi-permanet color or get one that will wash out in so many washes so if your not happy then it will wash out. That would be my best opinion.
