Where do I start?

So I been wanting to read some comic books. I asked a friend who loves them to leand me some. He brings a box full of them he told me to read whatever catches my eyes. I dont know anything about comics so I dont want to waste my time with the bad ones in this box. I will list the books in this box tell me witch ones are good and bad. WalkingDead, Invincible, Fables,Watchman, Y the last man, Preacher, 100 Bulletes, Thunderbolts, Marvel Zombies, Sandman, Dark Knight Returns. really would like to know where to start thx.
