Volvo - mitsubishi suspension swap?

If I had a mitsubishi 3000gt, would there be any way to swap suspensions, chis or the like for a much nicer ride. Id be getting a VR4 so were looking at awd's. I know that in the 90s mitsubishi and volvo had it going on together and sharing all sorts of stuff so I was thinking that there may be some quite compatible parts that could be swapped. As would be expected it wont ever get to the same quality as a volvo but would this be possible to have done(or possible do myself with help) and make much significant difference. If I could find a company that just straight up makes parts to improve this for 3000gt I'd have no problem with that, but I haven't turned up much results. Forums have been quite little help to me so far. I want a soft smooth glide(to the extent that's possible) when on the road, I don't particularly care so much for it going over bumps and what not that well. It will never be a rolls royce I know, but the best it can be.
